A Pure Soul

My daughter was born with a rare disorder called Pontocerebellar Hypoplasia Type II. It has always been a closely held belief of mine that people with severe brain defects are the only truly pure souls on earth. Because these people can not understand right from wrong, they are incapable of committing sin and can not be corrupted by the evils of mankind. They can not feel hate towards any person simply because of their race, religion, or creed.

Special needs children are angels sent to earth to help us learn to love unconditionally. They are the world's greatest teachers, and they never have to say a word.
